There exists great demand for a skilled workforce, especially in the context of globalization and when Indian economy is growing at an unprecedented rate. Availability of such skilled workforce is closely associated with the kind of vocational education and training system existing in the country.
We intend to create a workforce empowered with improved skills, knowledge and internationally recognized qualifications which can fulfill the huge gap in skill demand and supply in India. |

We follow an area based approach as against a target based approach to address the skill development and training needs of that particular area of operation in entire India. We are equally involved in empowering the women and making girl child more confident and self-dependent.
USD CONSORTIUM has a global vision and firm conviction that we can facilitate better quality of life to everyone through education and upliftment in all its realms through community mobilization, participatory governance based on sustainable natural resource management.
We have compartmentalized our Initiatives to achieve our vision by working on :
• Youth & Women Economic Empowerment by developing their skills through training in various trades approved by Indian Government.
• Exploring entrepreneurial Avenues for them.
• Convincing people in slum areas & Jhuggis for education n getting them skilled in various Govt. approved trades of their interest.

| Our objectives are as follows |

To impart various vocational and technical employable skills to the unemployed youth of the country. |

To help and generate training program for self employment and self-defense of women, for educated unemployed people and to work for adult education. |

To impart vocational skills to the women especially from economically backward class, SC/ST, Minorities communities and help them in attaining self employment/making them employed. |

To impart computer education, Communicative skills & personality development program to the students especially from the weaker section of the society to help them get better employment. |

To establish library and reading rooms in needy communities to make them aware of the latest development in the world. |

To create awareness on Women Empowerment, Gender Equality and Legal Assistance on Sexual Harassment in Work Places. |

To train the trainers in their respective basic trades and further utilize their services to train the large section of unemployed youths. |
