The USD women are now successfully delivering Orders from renowned Institutions/ Individuals and are sincerely learning to work professionally under time-bound pressures, managing all their house-hold affairs as well in the same duration.
THIS HAS STARTED GIVING THEM ENOUGH CONFIDENCE TO START THEIR OWN WORK IN FUTURE AND HAVE A SUSTAINABLE DIGNIFIED LIVELIHOOD. The have now started getting Orders from Local Market Vendors and through Connects of USD Members.
"USD WOMEN CREATIONS" is a registered seller on Government e Marketplace (GeM).
It's a pleasure to share with you all, some very recent Orders for USD Women from March-July, 2019.
Most of the women in our projects are very needy, hard working and from low economic strata. |

Feeling so happy to share with you all, that as an outcome of our initiative
"SWAVLAMBAN-V", approx, 15 trained USD women, from an ever-growing
team of "USD WOMEN CREATIONS", decided to be part of the project,
"PROJECT AMITY" and made more than 200 Cloth Conference Folders
in a short span of time, that too on very Simple Hand Sewing machines. |

Amity School of Economics holds its national Conference every year around the theme
of Sustainable Development. This year the department had the privilege of working with
USD Consortium for the kits to be distributed during the Conference.
We would like to take this opportunity to commend and applaud the hard work done by all .
We would also like to thank USD Consortium in helping us contribute in a small way towards
USD Women in sewing these Folders.
These kits were deeply appreciated by one and all. |

Sharing her views, Professor (Dr.) Shalini Singh Sharma said that SDGs or Sustainable Development means that it should touch every part of our lives. Mrs Renu Bajpai, president USD Consortium focuses on the need and ways to catalyze sustainable development and a dignified Livelihood for women from low economic strata. |

Stitching very thick clothes on such machines has been a great challenge, but the dedication and determination of our women did it. The folders were widely appreciated by the eminent personalities present in the Conference.
The Creative USD Women Team of our Amity Project are Mrs Manju Kaushik, Mrs Mili, Mrs Pooja Goyal, Neeta ji, Yashoda, Anita, Arti, Reena, Mrs. Rifat, Humera, Sadaf, Preeti and Neetu.
Result: The Confidence and appreciation achieved by these women after creating an appreciable product, with these machines made these women understood the importance of happiness of having sustainable dignified livelihood.

100 Multi Utility "Double pocket Pen Pouches" |

It was again a challenge for USD Women Team in Festival time in April, to make 100 multi utility pouches ( or double pocket with foam layering ) in less than three days, doing all their household duties, NavRatri festival preparations and other imp family assignments. Yet, the team took it as a great learning and professional opportunity. |

Our heartiest Congratulation to the team for successfully completing the assignment with high level of perfection and teamwork, especially with the Simple Hand Sewing machines, which take comparatively more time than advanced machines. |

These pen-pencil pouches or multi-pocket multi-utility pouches were distributed to Government School Children in Hoshiyarpur district in Punjab (See pic below.)
With such opportunities, the Team has now learned to deliver professionally, under time bound pressures and has become more much more competitive and skilled. This will definitely be helpful in developing their entrepreneurial skills as well. |

DPS Gwalior successfully organized DPSGMUN 2019 (19-21 July), under the very able
guidance of their principal Mrs. Neha Sharma. Friends, Model United Nations or MUN,
is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically role-play delegates to the
United Nations and simulate UN committees. This activity takes place at MUN
Conferences.
"USD Women Creations" team considers itself very lucky to got the opportunity
to prepare 300 Fabric Conference File Folders for delegates of such a great event. |

The consistent hard work of these skilled USD Women was guided by our Head Trainer Mrs. Manju Kaushik ji.
We are very much thankful to everyone, who have provided opportunities to USD Women
to prove their worth, show their skills and earn a Sustainable Dignified Livelihood. Every
team member was later rewarded for all their efforts and our reward was th e smile and
satisfaction on their faces, reflecting huge confidence to fulfill the small demands of their
kids and families. |
