This program is divided into 4 components : |

Spoken English: Oral/spoken communication skills-voice clarity, accent, word stress etc, basic grammar understanding, feedback and questioning technique, objectiveness in effective communication, conversation practices etc to maximize students use of spoken English. |

Computer Usage: Computer fundamentals, Basic MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Internet usage. |

Personality Development Skills : Skills developed include developing positive attitude, time management, listening skills, respect for self and others, conflict management, anger management, recognizing strengths and weaknesses and formulating vision and goals for life.
Social Confidence : Assignment based field visits to nearby modern retail, hospitality and BPO companies to set a context for personal grooming of students and gaining confidence to de-mystify the environments they may feel excluded from

This course is more suited for Admin jobs, front office roles or other entry level office based jobs. Students will learn the concept of operating system, customizing desktop environment, MS Office- Word, Excel & PowerPoint, formatting and managing word and excel documents, understanding Internet concepts, e-mails etc, improving speed and accuracy on the keyboard, spoken English inputs to work in a formal, structured environment. |

Short Term Single Garment Course : |
|
This course is about learning to stitch a single garment like Saree blouse, Salwar Kameez, Skirt & Top etc
In this course, the student learns about measurements of a specific garment and the way to measure a person for
the same. Guidance on Instructions and calculations for drafting and then Drafting of the pattern, firstly on paper
and then on fabric. The method to cut and stitch the fabric without lining and with lining would also be taught.

Short term and long term Basic Tailoring Diploma Course / Fashion dress designing
course : |
|
Pursuing this course will enable a person to understand the different aspects of pattern making and
tailoring in a shorter time frame. Trainees are made comfortable in Stitching Techniques, Dress
Measurements & Techniques, Anatomy of Drafting Garments, Calculations and Drafting Patterns, Method to
Fold the Fabric for Patterns, Terms used in Tailoring etc.
Jhabla (A top for a new born child or a Small kid), Summer frock, Yoke Frock, Frock with a separate body
and skirt, Flared Skirt, Umbrella Skirt, Saree Petticoat, Plain Blouse, Cut blouse with Plain and puff Sleeves,
Sari blouse with lining, Salwar / Kameez, Different types of Skirt Tops etc are taught in this Course.
Our long term Tailoring and Fashion dress designing course make our trainees competent and
confident enough to start their own business, such as establishing a tailoring unit or a Boutique as
well as for Professional garment design opportunities in the Industry.
Pattern making & Drafting of different dresses and techniques of using various Tucks, Pleats
Frills, Openings, Collars, Sleeves, Necklines etc are taught along with different types of Frocks, skirts, Tops,
Jeans, Blouses, Salwars etc.

The course gives real life understanding of the complete retail sector and prepares the applicant to get equipped for satisfying career in the retail sector. The course also equips the participants with the tools and terminologies that will be required by the student to continue and grow in this ever rising sector.
